Hospital Loma de Luz is a nondenominational missions hospital on the north coast of Honduras. Patients often walk for hours to receive the affordable, high-quality healthcare that until Loma de Luz was established, didn't exist for hundreds of miles.
It is staffed by top-notch American surgeons, family docs, and cardiologists. It provides jobs for dozens of young Honduran nurses.
Every patient who enters the doors of the hospital not only receives physical attention, but hears the full gospel message from the pastors and counselors on staff.
While the care is not free, the hospital charges a dime on the dollar for its services, allowing even the most impoverished to benefit from the high quality facility and technology.
